All Techniks hydraulic chucks are precision balanced to 25,000 RPM @ G2.5 making them an excellent choice for machining with small diameter tools.
Techniks offers three lines of hydraulic chucks to meet any application. The new TRITON chucks provide more than 350% the holding power vs. other hydraulic chucks making it an excellent choice when it is necessary to machine at high material removal applications such as high efficiency milling and machining titanium and other high-temp alloys. The hydraulic bladder provides excellent vibration damping properties, so tools run quieter and longer. TRITON chucks also have a thicker bore wall for additional stability during heavy side loads.
The SLIM line features narrower nose diameters for machining in tight areas such as mold & die work or whenever necessary to machine around obstructions such as workholding fixtures. SLIM chucks are available in a wide selection of on-size bores. The extended hydraulic bladder provides very stable clamping along the tool shank at have a repeatable accuracy of less than 0.0001” run-out making them an excellent choice for precision drilling and reaming applications. The EXTENDED line features longer gage lengths when long reach applications require the ultimate accuracy and stability such as when machining on horizontal machining centers. All Techniks hydraulic chucks are through-coolant enabled. CAT and BT tapers also come standard with CoolFLEX AD+B flange coolant delivery.
The use of reduction sleeves allows Techniks hydraulic chucks to help about any tool diameter. Reduction sleeves are sealed for coolant-through tooling. Reduction sleeves with I.D. bore diameters of ½”, or 12mm, and larger are manufactured with our patented TTG-594 compound that adds millions of microscopic teeth to the cutting tool connection producing the highest gripping force of any hydraulic chuck and reduction sleeve combination.
