Techniks Shrink Fit Holders are made from H13 steel to provide reliable performance through thousands of tool change cycles and for compatibility with fast induction shrinkfit machines such as Techniks ShrinkSTATION and ShrinkPRO units. Shrink Fit Holders are precision balanced to 25,000 RPM @G2.5 making them an excellent choice for high speed applications such as when machining with small diameter tools. All Techniks Shrink Fit Holders are manufactured to provide repeatable accuracy of less than 0.0001” runout to maximize tool life and performance. Extended gage lengths are available for long reach applications such as machining on horizontal machining centers.

CoolBLAST Shrink Fit Holders have three coolant ports directing coolant to the cutting area to help evacuate chips from the cutting path. DualDRIVE Shrink Fit Holders are designed to work with dual-contact spindles to provide superior rigidity under heavy side loads. SlimPRO Shrink Fit Holders have a very narrow nose diameter for machining in tight areas such as mold and die machining, medical parts manufacturing, or whenever needing to machine around obstructions such as workholding fixtures. 

ShrinkFIT holders are also available in our exclusive ShrinkLOCKED configuration to eliminate tool slippage or pullout without needing to modify the tool shank. ShrinkLOCKED shrink fit holders have the bore treated with a special abrasive compound, TTG-594, adding millions of microscopic teeth to the cutting tool connection producing the highest gripping force of any shrink fit tool holder. ShrinkLOCKED is an excellent choice when it is necessary to machine at high material removal rates such as machining titanium or other high temp alloys.
