Instructions
Step 1. Place the DualDRIVE holder with pull stud into your machines spindle and clamp it in. Using gage pins, gage blocks, or feeler gauges measure the gap between the spindle face and tool holder flange (see illustration). Write this gap down in the space provided (right). Perform the gap check again to confirm accuracy.
Step 2. Using a 2mm hex key wrench remove the flange pad as shown by unscrewing the 6 flat head screws.
Step 3. Install the necessary inserts on the tool holder and replace the flange pad on the tool holder and tighten the 6 hex screws to 4 ft/lbs., using a torque wrench. NOTE: Do not exceed the thickness of the gap you measured in Step 1.
Step 4. Replace the tool holder in the spindle and confirm full face contact by attempting to slip a .0015 feeler gauge between the holder and the spindle face.

Each kit includes 32 flange inserts.
